Getting Started

  • Open Awaken Build and choose a house type. Your design is kept on this device as you work.
  • Sign in and press Save to keep it in your Awaken account on every device.

Choosing a Home

  • Each house type has recommended plot sizes. Change the plot area, shape and road side in the Home step.
  • Location sets the currency and which local prices can be used.

Editing Layout

  • Use Floors, Bedrooms and Bathrooms in Home, and the room-size sliders in Layout.
  • Regenerate layout re-plans circulation while keeping your choices. Tap a room to see why it's placed there.

Exterior

  • Colour themes give realistic palettes such as Modern African, Tropical Contemporary or Natural Stone.
  • Fine-tune walls, accents, trim, roof, doors, window frames and fence. Use Custom for any colour.

Interior

  • Choose tiles per area, kitchen layout, cupboards, countertop, appliances, bathroom fittings, ceilings and light colour.

Outdoor

  • Toggle pool, boys' quarters, outdoor kitchen, perimeter fence and landscaping. Lighting options add exterior and pool lights.

Materials

  • Materials lists conceptual quantities for structure, roofing, walls and finishes, openings, plumbing, electrical and external works.
  • Filter by construction phase to see, for example, only what you need for the foundation.
  • Change the wall system and waste allowance (5%, 10%, 15% or custom). Tap any material to see what it's used for and how it was calculated.
  • Set how many of this house you plan to build. Development totals share a single estate fence, gate and road.
  • These are planning estimates. Final quantities must be confirmed by a qualified architect, engineer or quantity surveyor.

Live Pricing

  • Check current local prices fetches verified, attributed prices for your location. Each price shows location, date, number of sources and confidence.
  • Fresh = under 7 days, recent = 7–30 days, stale = older than 30 days. Stale prices are never used as the estimate.
  • If only national data exists it's labelled as country-wide reference pricing. If there's no trustworthy price, Build says “Current verified price unavailable”.
  • Pricing never changes your design or quantities, and Build keeps working if pricing is offline.

Floor Plans

  • Use the Plan or Split view. Sheets: each floor (Ground, First, Second…), Roof, Site and — for developments — the conceptual development layout.
  • Download a PNG of the current sheet or a PDF of all sheets. Plans are conceptual planning output, not certified drawings.

3D Walkthrough

  • Walk through: W A S D or arrow keys and drag to look (desktop), joystick on touch screens. Esc exits.
  • Auto tour flies through the house; 360° rotates it; Explore structure separates the floors; Watch it build replays construction.

Video

  • Create video lets you showcase this house, several of your designs, or a whole development.
  • Choose a template, format (9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9) and scenes. The number of homes shown in the video is separate from how many you plan to build.
  • Videos render in your browser (Chrome, Edge and Firefox on desktop work best) and download as WebM.

Sharing

  • Designs are private by default. In Share, choose Unlisted (anyone with the link) or Public (anyone, may appear in search).
  • Share by link, WhatsApp, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, email, or your phone's share sheet. Switching back to Private stops the link working.

Downloads

  • Project summary PDF, concept floor plan PDF and PNG, materials estimate PDF and CSV (opens in Excel), 3D snapshot PNG and the project configuration file.
  • All documents are labelled Conceptual Design / Planning Document.

Saving Projects

  • Projects save to this device automatically. Save stores them in your account; Projects lists everything, and you can duplicate or compare designs.

Using Zuri

  • Ask Zuri things like “How many cement bags will I need?”, “Show me the materials for only the foundation”, “What changes if I build 5 houses?”, “Get current cement prices in Abuja”, “Change the exterior to warm cream and timber” or “Create a social video using three of my designs”.
  • Zuri labels answers as calculated quantities, external market prices or AI suggestions.

FAQ

  • Why don't I see a total price? Awaken only shows prices backed by recent local sources, and only for the items it can price.
  • Are the drawings approved plans? No — they're conceptual and must be developed by a registered architect and engineer.
  • Why ranges instead of exact numbers? A concept design can't support exact quantities; ranges are more honest.
